Ashtanga Yoga


Yoga benefits everyone as they go through the different stages of life. It is a path of discovery and self awareness and when practiced with a sustained regularity, it benefits the hormonal, and immune systems, bones are strengthened delaying and or preventing the onset of degenerative diseases.

Ashtanga yoga is a system which links a series of progressive asanas, through breath, bandhas, and movement, to produce internal heat, which over time removes toxins from the body. As a result, one develops strength, flexibility and eventually an awareness of self. Ashtanga yoga is taught according to the teachings of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois of Mysore, India.
